Job Description:

  • Establish and communicate company goals to Directors/Managers
  • Consult with other executives, staff, and doctors about general operations
  • Collaborate with staff to create and implement policies and procedures to meet company goals
  • Identify and recommend areas for staff training and development
  • Represent Owner/President at meetings and in the office when he is absent
  • Ensure tax accounts are managed: payroll/unemployment, sales, compensating use, etc.
  • Manage accounts and passwords
  • Weekly budget planning
  • Calculating needs and forecasting
  • Supervise bookkeeper
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for Owner, banks, internal reference etc. as needed
  • Coordination of business tax returns with CPA
  • Collaborate with ADP payroll provider to ensure biweekly payrolls are timely and accurate
  • Ensure proper forms & documentation, collaborating with Director of Administration
  • Submit final payroll data biweekly for ADP to process
  • Create employee policies in conjunction with Director of Administration & Owner
  • Coordinate coverage and payment: business, work comp, malpractice, directors & officers liability
  • Provide verification to business lenders, auto lienholders
  • Assist with creation of agreements, interviews, & orientation
  • Track licensing and Continuing Education, inform doctors of opportunities
  • Meet regularly with Senior Doctor for feedback on office processes
  • Coordinate claims, questions, changes to coverage
  • Create and implement policies to manage risk
  • Work with police and appropriate professionals in an emergency
  • File insurance claims

Job Requirements:

  • Five to ten years of Medical Managerial experience
  • Bachelors degree is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship/team building skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work on multiple projects
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex medical and legal concepts
  • Strategic planning and problem identification/solving skills
  • Work within a budget and implement cost-saving measures
