LOCATION: Outside of Wichita, Kansas

The Director of Radiology Services is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the Radiology Department and the Imaging Center.
Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients, ranging from neonate to geriatric.
Supervises and assures competency of all personnel.

Acts under the direction of the hospital administrator to lead staff in the performance of various clinical procedures.
Collaborates with medical and professional staff of other departments to plan/coordinate joint patient and management objectives.
Ensures optimal allocation of staff to workload ratios, to meet budgetary goals/objectives.
Prepares department budget to ensure operational costs are within organizational goals.
Coordinates departmental projects and instructs staff in the development and implementation of new test capabilities.
Ensures departmental compliance and maintains a quality control program to comply with organizational, departmental specific policies/procedures, safety and health standards, and state/federal regulations and accrediting agencies.
Services are provided for patient population newborn through geriatric.
Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).

Bachelors degree with ARRT certification. Master`s preferred.
3-5 years Management experience required in a hospital radiology department.

Facility is 200 beds.
The director will oversee around 25 employess(mix of FT, PT, PRN).

The facility is offering a salary range between 95K-120K depending on experience and a great benefit package with relocation offered.
