Process and facilitate call center requests including physician's requests, dispatch various emergency team members, manage and maintain the computer database, coordinate daily on-call schedule for Trauma Alert Team.
Provide services including, but not limited to call routing to various departments; serves as public relations liaison for new media (relaying patient information; CAC/VAA status, etc.) and hospital marketing events. Assists medical staff, hospital staff, and patients with long distance dialing, assisting with phone system capabilities. Locate physicians needed in emergency situations. Answer calls for various clinics and departments after hours to coordinate patient to physician/resident communication.
Job Requirements:
Previous experience as a call center representative
Ability to speak English Fluently.
Keyboard skills of 20 wpm.
Demonstrated ability to communicate.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
